Optus SmartSafe Ad

SmartSafe was a product offered by Optus, an Australian telecom, which allowed users to share, store and backup their data online. For the YouTube ad, Sydney agency M&C Saatchi came up with the concept of online content being sucked into an underwater safe. I used After Effects to create this illusion, surprising visitors by replacing what looked like the Top YouTube Videos section, which at that time appeared on the YouTube homepage.
